Limestone Console Sink on Carved Corbels

Restraint is the whole character of this one. A thick rectangular slab of cool grey limestone, its front edge left plain and square, with a shallow round basin dished into the deck toward the front and a single flush drain. There is no backsplash and no tap deck, so the swing arm spout comes off the wall. Two deep corbels carved with acanthus leaves and set on square plinths carry the slab. Suited to garden rooms, loggias, courtyards and pool houses where a sink must sit quietly.
